NEW YORK CITY -- Sometimes you eat the turkey, other times the turkey eats you.

A New York City straphanger celebrated Thanksgiving this year with a subway feast and a highly appropriate Turkey Day ensemble, video shows.

Video posted to YouTube Thursday shows a turkey clad-gentleman calmly pulling out a carving knife and then serving himself several slices of the traditional Thanksgiving Day beast.

As the nonchalant turkey quietly tucks into his turkey dinner, and a service announcement reminds passengers to be aware of their surroundings, several straphangers pull out phones to record the moment.

The videographer, who goes by PrinceZee online, also posted the video to Instagram where followers commented on their pleasure in viewing the film.

"Remember this moment and cherish for eternity," wrote @familyisagift4ever. "U deserve to have the best celebration of gratitude and enjoyment."

"This is too much cannibalism ... a turkey eating turkey," added @quadra_joiruh "Happy thanksgiving."

@Kenardian wrote simply,"I would've move in and demanded a thigh."
