Mayor Eric Adams is expected to give remarks about Gerhard, 33, who died Feb. 16 after suffering what authorities called a "medical episode" in his Far Rockaway neighborhood firehouse.
His death came one day after he helped battle a fire that completely engulfed a Queens home.

Gerhard is the 1,156th member of the FDNY to die in the line-of-duty.
Adams and other city officials praised Gerhard's heroism — and his generosity apparently continued in death.
Gerhard's family worked with LiveOnNY, the federally designated organ procurement organization for the New York metro region, to honor his wish to gift a tissue donation, the group announced.
"We can now confirm that this generous gift could change the lives of as many as 50 to 75 people including those in need of the gift of sight as well as burn victims, dialysis patients, patients with musculoskeletal conditions," said Leonard Achan, president and CEO of LiveOnNY, in a statement. "Firefighter Jesse Gerhard joins the growing list of thousands of NY organ and tissue donor heroes who will live on through their generosity to help others live on."
