Watch Live: New York vs. Georgia In Little League World Series
The Mid Island Little Leaguers out of Staten Island will play Peachtree City American on Thursday. Here's how you can watch.

WILLIAMSPORT, PA — New York and Georgia are about to go toe-to-toe for a shot at the U.S. championship in the Little League World Series. The Mid Island Little Leaguers (2-1) from Staten Island will play Peachtree City American (3-1) on Thursday. The game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EST at the Howard J. Lamade Stadium in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The winner will go on to play a redemption game against Hawaii on Saturday.
The game will air on ESPN. You can watch a livestream of the game on WatchESPN (you'll need a subscription) or follow along in real time with GameChanger.
For both teams, the game means more than just a shot at the U.S. title — its a chance to get a second crack at the boys from Honolulu. Hawaii routed Staten Island on Wednesday 10-0. Ace pitcher Aukai Kea hurled six strikeouts over 4.1 innings in the game and New York, representing the Mid-Atlantic region, committed three errors. They were held to just one hit in the contest.

And while Georgia is coming into the game as hot as can be, the boys from Peachtree City also suffered their only loss to, yes, Hawaii — a 3-0 shutout at the very beginning of the tournament. Since then though, it's been all Georgia, as the team has rattled off three straight wins.

New York has relied on stellar pitching from Gregory Bruno in the tournament. Bruno has pitched 8 innings and sports a sparkling .75 ERA, allowing just one earned run on four hits. He's struck out 13 batters and walked just four. But the hits have been few and far between for Staten Island. As a team, they have just nine hits. Three players are tied for the team-lead with two, and three players account for the team's only three RBIs. Chris Bedford leads the team in runs scored with two.
Georgia, which has played one additional game, has racked up 30 hits, including four doubles and a home run. Tai Peete and Jansen Kenty have been the offensive catalysts, with Peete collecting five hits — two doubles — and Kenty belting four hits, including a double and a clutch home run. Four players are tied for the team lead with two RBIs. The Georgia pitching has been just as impressive. The team sports a collective 1.72 ERA. Kenty and Connor Riggs-Soper lead the team in innings with 11.1 and 10.1, respectively.
