Winter dining options around NYC to enjoy

NYC Winter options for you to enjoy this season.

As the weather outside gets more and more frightful, your desire to enjoy comfort food in a warm and cozy atmosphere is sure to spike! Here are a few of my favorite spots to warm up and chow down this winter.

Boulton & Watt (5 Avenue A, New York, New York 10009)

Imagine walking through the East Village on a quiet, snowy day. The sun is setting, the streets are empty, and all of a sudden, you’re starving with no idea where to go. Well, look no further than Boulton & Watt. The industrial decor, dark wood tones, and large windows make this a wonderful setting to enjoy watching the snow fall with a warm plate of Short Rib Ravioli to munch on. Make sure you don’t leave without trying Boulton & Watt’s signature dessert, the Cast-Iron Cookie, complete with a glass of cold milk. The perfect ending to a chilly day.

Cleo (444 Park Avenue South, New York, NY 10016)

If you’d rather be spending this season somewhere a bit less frosty, you must check out the midtown, Mediterranean hot spot, Cleo. Named after famed Egyptian Queen Cleopatra and sporting a menu inspired by the European and Middle Eastern cultures, you’ll be transported to a whole new world just upon entrance. The space at Cleo features high ceilings, large windows, and colorful artwork. Settle in, enjoy a Mondrian Old Fashioned, a Mediterranean take on the classic cocktail, and forget all about that wind chill outside.

Refinery Rooftop (63 W 38th Street, New York, NY 10018)

Now I know what you’re thinking: “an outdoor rooftop...in the winter? No thanks.” But, trust me when I tell you, you will not regret experiencing the unobstructed Empire State Building view on this outdoor (and indoor) rooftop. The perfect spot to relax, have a snack and sip cocktails with friends, Refinery Rooftop does not disappoint as the ultimate going out location all year round. So don’t fear those late winter nights, spend them with Refinery Rooftop.

Parker & Quinn (64 West 39th Street New York, New York, 10018)

Escape the agony of walking through the cold air, and take a seat at Parker & Quinn. The nostalgic feel, 1920s charm, and wide selection of classic food favorites make this option a no brainer. With options ranging from Mac & Cheese to Grilled Branzino, and everything in between, there’s something for everyone at Parker & Quinn. Catch up with family and friends in this beautiful and intimate space.
