Woman Gives Birth Aboard NYC-Bound Flight: Report
The Caribbean Airlines flight originated from Kingston, Jamaica.
NEW YORK CITY — A pregnant passenger gave birth aboard a flight to John F. Kennedy International Airport over the weekend.
The incident happened aboard Caribbean Airlines Flight 005 on Saturday as it making its final approach to JFK, according to CBS News.
“We have a passenger, a pregnant passenger who is going into labor at this time,” the pilot could be heard saying to Air Traffic Control, according to the report.

The Caribbean Airlines flight originated from Kingston, Jamaica. Medical personnel was stationed at the gate when the plane arrived.
The conditions of the mother and her newborn are not known at this time, but the pilot confirmed to Air Traffic Control that the woman successfully gave birth.

“Caribbean five, ground. Is it out yet?” an airport official asked, with the pilot responding, "Yes, sir," CBS News reported.
