Woman Struck And Killed By DOT Dump Truck On NYC Street
The woman, believed to be in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
NEW YORK CITY — A woman was struck and killed by a New York City Department of Transportation dump truck on Tuesday, police said.
The incident happened on Metropolitan Avenue and Lefferts Boulevard in Queens around 9 a.m.
The woman was crossing the street at Lefferts Blvd. when she was struck by the dump truck who was making a right turn onto the street, police said.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. She is believed to be in her 30s, according to the New York Daily News.
The victim has not been identified yet. The truck driver remained at the scene.
