CHELSEA, NY — A 24-year-old Brooklyn woman was found dead in a trash chute in the basement of a Chelsea condo building Friday afternoon, according to multiple reports citing police sources.
Surveillance video obtained by NBC4 New York shows the woman, identified as Jaclyn Elmquist, stumbling down 28th Street late Thursday evening as she attempted to open multiple doors.
Elmquist did not live in the building where she was discovered, according to the outlet.

An X user who identified themself as Elmquist's cousin shared a missing person flyer on the platform Friday evening, saying that she had been missing since leaving a work party in Manhattan Thursday evening and did not come home or show up for work Friday morning.
