Zach Bair's Song 'The Great Divide' Hits all the right notes

I love music, and I bet you do too. Over the past few years, I've lost family and friends over disagreements about politics, the pandemic, and more.

We now have a war devastating Ukraine; Covid going up and down & all around still, and political divisions that are creating an atmosphere of civil wars among families who no longer speak to one another.

I listened to Zach Bair's new single 'The Great Divide' hoping for some kind of message I could share with the people I miss...and I found it.

This song is so important, in my opinion, because even if we believe in very different things, we can still love one another. At the end of the day, it's the fact that we all have the freedom to express our beliefs that unites us - as human beings and music lovers!

The new single is reminiscent of Indie/Pop/Rock songs by Gin Blossoms, Green Day, Shinedown, and Foo Fighters. It is produced by legendary, Grammy award winner Skid Mills and mastered by renowned music industry engineer and Grammy winner Brad Blackwood. The single is published by Rockwood Records.

“As a nation and even a world, we have become more and more separated by our beliefs, to the point where families and friends are being forever broken,” said Zach Bair. “We need to heal, and to step away from all of the divisive reactions to political or pandemic beliefs and accept one another. All this hate is crazy. I wrote the song ‘The Great Divide’ because I believe it is time to bring the true spirit of Democracy back into our lives, and move forward. It’s okay to have your own opinions but listen to another’s ideas. But this song is beyond even that - and also refers to anyone who suffers from a reality that ‘divides’ them from others, such as those who struggle with autism or mental illness.”
