2 TOR Bus Routes to Be Detoured for Summer

The detours are for summer school and swimming.

New City, NY — Summer bus route detours were announced Wednesday by Rockland County Executive Ed Day and the Department of Public Transportation.

Two Transport of Rockland routes will be detoured for BOCES Regional Summer School and Spook Rock Swimming Pool.

  • TOR #93 has been detoured into Spook Rock Swimming Pool’s parking lot during pool hours. On the bus schedule, the stop for Spook Rock Pool is between Rockland Community College and Suffern High School. The pool is on Spook Rock Road near the intersection of Viola Road in Ramapo. This seasonal stop will not change the rest of TOR #93’s schedule. View the bus schedule at www.rocklandbus.com. TOR #93 also passes near Kakiat Park in Suffern and goes to Harriman Park in Sloatsburg. TOR bus routes serve most of Rockland’s public parks and pools.   • TOR #94 will be detoured July 11th through August 18th during morning trips to serve the BOCES Regional Summer School Program at Fieldstone School in Thiells. Go to www.rocklandbus.com for bus schedules to Fieldstone School from the school districts participating in the BOCES summer program. The arrival timepoint on the TOR #94 schedule is called “Hammond Road.” TOR buses pick-up and drop-off at any safe location along their routes. Passengers from Hammond Road must go to Filor’s Lane to meet #94 during detour hours.
