Today's opportunity is Get Fresh! Volunteers to Help Distribute Food. Get Fresh! provides fresh food and produce, courtesy of the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley, to Rockland County-based food pantries via a drive-up food distribution service. It allows participating pantries to supply meals to hundreds of food-insecure families in the area.
Volunteers will be needed Tuesday, Dec. 15 to lift boxes of food and place them in the food pantry's vehicles.
