A short drive from New City, the Pearl River Farmers Market is a popular weekend stop for fresh produce, baked goods, flowers and other locally made items. It’s a simple way to get outside, shop local and enjoy a seasonal community tradition close to home.

2. Haverstraw Riverwide Arts & Music Festival

When: Typically held in early June, 11 a.m.–7 p.m.
Where: Village of Haverstraw Waterfront and Downtown Streets

One of Rockland County’s largest street festivals, the Riverwide Arts & Music Festival features dozens of artists, live music performances, food vendors and family activities. Visitors can stroll the Hudson River waterfront while browsing artwork and enjoying entertainment throughout the day.

6. Nyack Street Fair

When: Select Sundays throughout spring and fall, typically 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

The Nyack Street Fair is one of the largest in the region, bringing hundreds of vendors, food stands and artists to Main Street. Visitors can browse crafts, clothing and handmade goods while enjoying the lively atmosphere in the village along the Hudson River.
