This day-long gathering brings together students, advisers, and Social Studies Department chairs from ten Rockland County high schools.

John T. and Mary A. Grant Rockland County High School Local History Conference

When: Tuesday, March 12, 2019 (snow date: Thursday, March 14)
Where: Romano Center, St. Thomas Aquinas College, Sparkill
Admission: By Invitation Only

This day-long gathering brings together high school history students, their advisers, and Social Studies Department chairs from the following Rockland County high schools:

  • Albertus Magnus
  • Clarkstown North
  • Clarkstown South
  • Nanuet
  • Nyack
  • North Rockland
  • Pearl River
  • Ramapo
  • Spring Valley
  • Tappan Zee

The students will will present research on various topics relating to Rockland County history.

We are pleased to announce that this year's conference keynote speaker is Ileana Eckert, Superintendent of Schools, North Rockland Central School District.
