STONY POINT, NY — A 42-year-old woman is accused of shoplifting something from Shoprite in Stony Point while police were there watching a surveillance video which, they allege, showed her shoplifting from the supermarket earlier that day.
Police were called to Shoprite Sunday for a shoplifting complaint. The responding officers were watching a video of a woman leaving the store at 11 a.m. without paying for merchandise.
Police said they were still at the location when the woman returned and was observed leaving the location again without paying for merchandise.
