Airmont Clean-Up Day 2018 Posts Record Collection Totals

The Village of Airmont Community Clean-Up Day set a new record this year, collecting 68 bags of trash and 27 bags of recyclables, thanks to the hard-working volunteers who took part. This annual event is part of the Keep Rockland Beautiful initiative that invites County residents to take an active role in making a positive impact on their environment in celebration of Earth Day. Airmont Mayor Philip Gigante, along with Trustees Paul Marchesani, Anthony Valvo, Peter Blunnie, and Kevin Warbrick pitched in with the clean-up efforts, along with a team of local residents of all ages.
