SPRING VALLEY, NY — A homeless man is accused of pressing a knife to another man's throat, then punching the victim and stealing his money, according to police.
Detective Sgt. Randy DiPaolo said police were summoned to South Main Street on Aug. 14 around 1:22 a.m.
The victim reported a male suspect, who he knows, had robbed him, police said. According to the victim, the robber first displayed a knife, then pressed it against his throat, then punched him, causing him to fall to the ground, according to police.
The assailant then took about $200 cash from the victim's wallet and fled.

Police took Duque-Agustin into custody and charged him with first-degree robbery, second-degree robbery, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon for the Aug. 14 incident.
For the previously unreported robbery, police charged Duque-Agustin with third-degree robbery.
Duque-Agustin was arraigned in the Village of Spring Valley Justice Court. Bail was set in the amount of $25,000 cash, $50,000 bond, and $75,000 partially secured bond. Duque-Agustin was transferred to the Rockland County Jail.
