SPRING VALLEY, NY — A local man has been arrested after a Sept. 3 stabbing which left his stepbrother with facial wounds, according to police.
Detective Sgt. Randy DiPaolo said police were summoned to 5 Rosehill Oval around 7:11 p.m., and officers found the adult male victim suffering from stab wounds to his face.
According to police, the victim had been stabbed by his stepbrother, who fled the scene. Emergency personnel took the victim to a local hospital. Police said the man's injuries were not life-threatening.
On Wednesday, detectives arrested Kashief Kobe Hall, 24, of Spring Valley, and charged him with first-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Hall was arraigned in the Village of Spring Valley Justice Court, then released on his own recognizance, police said.
