April 24 - National Biological Honor Society Inducts 12 RCC Students
free and open to the public

Ramapo, NY— Rockland Community College’s Upsilon Iota chapter of the National Biological Honor Society, Beta Beta Beta, will induct 12 new students as members on Friday, April 24.

Beta Beta Beta Induction Ceremony

Founded in 1922, Beta Beta Beta, also called TriBeta, is the National Biological Honor Society for students. There are more than 670 chapters throughout the nation, most of them at 4-year colleges or universities. There were only two other community colleges with chapters when Rockland Community College inaugurated this Upsilon Iota chapter in Spring/2013 with 8 student inductees. Beta Beta Beta invites students who have achieved academic excellence in biology courses and have demonstrated a strong interest in biological research through and participation in research projects. www.tri-beta.org
