Armed Robbery Reported in New City

NEW CITY, NY — Clarkstown police are investigating an armed robbery on Heritage Drive in New City.

A woman told police Wednesday that she parked her car at 25 Heritage Drive before 9:50 p.m. and walked around it to get bags from the passenger seat — at which point a man in a ski mask pointed a handgun at her and told her to "give me your money."

She said she gave him what he had and he ran away.

Police say the man was described as a white male with brown eyes wearing a black jacket, black pants and a black ski type mask.

A search of the area did not reveal any suspect, police said. The Detective Bureau is asking for anyone who may have been in the area or has a video surveillance system in that area to please call 845-639-5840.
