Arrest after Attempt to Open Cell Phone Account
The New York drivers license he was using appeared phony.

WEST NYACK, NY — A Bronx man is in custody after a report of possible fraud from Best Buy at the Palisades Center.
At 6:30 p.m. Friday, the Clarkstown Police Department responded to a report of possible fraud at Best Buy in West Nyack. Patrol officers who responded interviewed an employee who told officers that a man was attempting to open an AT&T cell phone account using what appeared to be a fraudulent NYS drivers license.
Officers alleged they could tell that the license was fraudulent by observing poor quality, different name and lack of security marks on the document.

The suspect, Dayson Ford, 22, of Bronx, NY, was arrested and transported to police headquarters for processing. He was charged with criminal possession of forged instrument 2nd(felony). Ford was arraigned in Clarkstown Justice Court. Bail was set at $1,500 and he was transported to the Rockland County Jail. Ford is due to return to court on April 26.
