Assailant - Acquaintance - Arrested in Nanuet Stabbing
Police said the Yonkers man was caught by state police in Wappingers Falls.
Clarkstown Police continue their investigation of a stabbing which occurred Saturday evening at in Nanuet.
At 9 p.m., police responded to 97 Tennyson Drive for a report of a dispute. The victim, a 50 year old Nanuet resident and an acquaintance of his assailant, had been stabbed several times, police said.
He was taken to Nyack Hospital where he was reported in critical condition.

The suspect, Frank Keogh, 48, from Yonkers, had fled the scene before the officers arrived.
He was later apprehended in Wappingers Falls as a result of a traffic stop initiated by the New York State Police.

Keogh was awaiting arraignment before the Clarkstown Justice Court Sunday afternoon. Pending charges include Attempted Murder 2nd degree, Assault 1st degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree, and Criminal Contempt.
