Black Friday Shoplifting Episodes in West Nyack, Nanuet: Police
In two incidents, two women were charged with two felonies each.

In the first instance, Clarkstown police were called to Macy’s on Fashion Drive in Nanuet at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 28 for a report of shoplifting. The suspect, Yueh Lin of Pomona, was reportedly observed by loss prevention employees taking clothing valued at $1,235.
The 61-year-old was charged with two felonies: fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. She was released on an appearance ticket and given a return court date of Jan. 7.
Fifteen minutes later Clarkstown police were called to Lord and Taylor in the Palisades Mall in West Nyack.

The suspect, Violeta Harris, 41, of the Bronx, was reportedly observed by loss prevention employees taking clothing valued at $1,259.
She also was charged with grand larceny 4th and criminal possession of stolen property 4th. She was released on an appearance ticket and given a return court date of Jan. 17.
