Boil Water Order Lifted In Montebello
It had been issued six days ago after a water main break.

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — The Rockland County Health Department has lifted a boil water order issued on Aug 29. It was due to a water main break on Lake Road.
Loss of pressure in a water main increases the chance that untreated water and harmful microbes could enter the system. That's why customers were instructed to boil their water until further notice.
The order is lifted for the following addresses in Montebello:

- Lake Road: 2, 2a, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14. 16.
- Mills Road: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25.
- Marian Drive: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. 10.
It is no longer necessary for these customers to boil their water prior to consumption. Lab results indicate that the water meets all safe drinking water standards, SUEZ officials said.
The water company apologized for the inconvenience and thanked customers for their patience.
