Bridge Work Means Lane Closures on the Palisades This Weekend

Lane closures are expected on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in the vicinity of Exit 8 (Route 59) while crews perform bridge maintenance on Saturday and Sunday.

The work will take place from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Expect delays.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices.

Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
