SLOATSBURG, NY — A crash on Route 17 Sunday evening has killed one of two brothers who were on a riding mower near Washington Avenue.

Ramapo police report that Richard M. Mackey, a 29-year-old from Sloatsburg, died this morning from his injuries. His brother Raymond Mackey, also 29, is hospitalized with serious injuries, police said.
