Bungalow Burns Down Off Ewing Avenue
A nearby fire two weeks ago is being investigated by Ramapo police.
SPRING VALLEY, NY — Spring Valley firefighters were called to Ewing Avenue twice on Wednesday morning. The first fire was at about 7 a.m. and the second call came after 9 a.m., according to Rockland Fires.
A structure fire May 6 killed one person in the same neighborhood, Ewing Avenue at Pascack Road. First responders found someone dead in an apparently abandoned building, Ramapo police said.
The Ramapo Police Investigations Division responded to that scene and was assisted by the Rockland County Sheriffs Office Fire Investigation Unit.
