New City Bowl & Batting Cages

The Jawonio Foundation is hosting it’s 5th&nbsp;Annual HOMETOWN HEROES BOWLATHON to benefit children, adults and families with special needs. This friendly bowling competition will take place at New City Bowl and Batting Cages. Proceeds benefit the Jawonio Foundation that provides fundraising resources and financial support of programs and services in both Rockland and Westchester Counties.&nbsp;

Doors open at 5:40 pm and play starts at 7:30 pm. Bingo games are open to the public.
Packages are priced at $42, $35 and $25 plus $3 admission. They contain nine games with other games available for purchase including Pull Tabs, Quickies, two progressive bonanza jackpots and nightly specials. Games end at approximately 10 pm.
All game boards are paper with electronic verification. Pre-packaged snacks, beverages and bingo supplies are available for purchase.

Bingo is played in Beth Am Temple’s climate-controlled, ground-level social hall which has cushioned seating. The room is brightly lit and has its own sound system. The building is handicapped accessible with a well-lit parking lot.

Chef Alberto Salas isn’t just cooking dinner, he’s putting on a full-on paella performance at our Paella Party at Cropsey Community Farm.
Expect a giant pan, incredible aromas, and the kind of moment where you suddenly understand why paella is such a celebration. One moment it’s ingredients, the next it’s a shared feast - no magic trick, just Chef Alberto doing what he does best.
Along the way, he’ll share the traditions and techniques behind authentic paella… so you can impress people later by casually saying “actually, paella should always start with a good sofrito.”
Your evening also includes: A guided farm tour (yes, we show off a little) &nbsp;Empanada appetizers (because waiting is hard) &nbsp;Salad fresh from our fields (farm-to-table, very literal) &nbsp;Your choice of Land &amp; Sea or Roasted Vegetarian Paella (selected in advance) &nbsp;Farm-made sangria and wine (the “this is a good idea” beverage) &nbsp;Churros with dulce de leche or chocolate + fresh strawberries (because obviously)
