Historical Society Of Rockland County

Celebrate Rockland History Month with a compelling self-guided tour of historic homes and landmarks in partnership with the Piermont Historical Society. Tickets are available for $45 in advance or $50 on the day of the tour, offering a unique opportunity to explore the architectural heritage of these scenic communities.This year's tour will take place in and around the Rockland Road Bridge Historic District – Known as “The Birthplace of Piermont.” It is the oldest and most historic area of Piermont and many of the surrounding buildings have maintained their 18th and 19th-century character. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the oldest house in Piermont is here and once hosted George Washington.&nbsp;
The house tour will be a self-guided walking tour on which a number of houses and other significant sites within and near the Historic District, and in nearby Sparkill will be open to the public. The tour both promotes these Orangetown communities and their historic importance to Rockland County.

Depending on the week, two game formats are offered. Most weeks have packages available that are priced at $42, $35 and $25 plus $3 admission. They contain nine games with other games available for purchase including Pull Tabs, Quickies, two progressive bonanza jackpots and nightly specials. Games end at approximately 10 pm. On the final Wednesday of each month, the format switches to Pull Tabs and Specials including 50/50, Share The Wealth and more.

INTENT is inspired by one of the most famous espionage plots in American history. In the play, the true story of the famous British spy, Major John André, is interwoven with the fictional story of Katje, a widowed tavern worker whose son joined the rebellion and is now missing in action. Set in a time when our nation was divided against itself in a deadly clash of convictions, this play explores the intersection between high-stakes politics and the raw grief of families losing fathers, brothers, and sons to a relentless, brutal war.
