Candy Cane Hunt Scheduled At Clarkstown's Christmas Tree Lighting

NEW CITY, NY — Several upcoming events in Clarkstown celebrate the holidays.

There's a Candy Cane Hunt and Tree Lighting event Dec. 12 in Congers as the annual Winter Wonderland opens. The fun will begin at 5:30 p.m. in Congers Train Station Park at Burnside Avenue. Bring your flashlights and bags to collect hidden candy canes! Santa will also make an appearance.

On Dec. 15, Clarkstown opens its annual Winter Wonderland at Lake Congers.

Dec. 19, Rockland County's annual Menorah Lighting will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Allison-Paris County Office Building, 11 Hempstead Road, New City.
