Child Dies After Being Left In Car In Spring Valley
Police ask anyone with information to call.

SPRING VALLEY, NY — A toddler left in a car in Spring Valley died Tuesday, police said.
At 4:39 p.m., officers responded to Ridge Avenue after receiving a report of a dead child.
They learned that a 1-year-old girl had been left in the family vehicle unattended for several hours.

"Tragically, she passed away," police said.
The Spring Valley Police Department, Rockland County Sheriff’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Rockland County Child Protective Services, and the Rockland County Medical Examiners Office are investigating.
