Clarkstown Cops Accuse 2 of Shoplifting at the Palisades Mall

NEW CITY, NY - At 8PM March 15 the Clarkstown Police Department responded to Lord and Taylor at the Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack for a report of shoplifting.

The suspects, Angela Himmelberg, 19, of Mount Airy, MD and Alaina White, 18, of Wixon, MI were reportedly observed by loss prevention employees taking women's clothing valued at $1,210.

The merchandise was recovered at the scene. They were arrested and transported to police headquarters for processing. They were charged with grand larceny 4th (felony) and criminal possession of stolen property 4th (felony).

They are currently awaiting arraignment in Clarkstown Justice Court, police said.
