Clarkstown Man Accused Of Bringing Drugs Into Putnam County Jail
He faces two felony charges, the Putnam sheriff said.
PUTNAM COUNTY, NY — A Clarkstown resident faces felony charges in Putnam County, Sheriff Kevin J. McConville announced Dec. 6.
Narcotics Enforcement Unit investigators arrested Joseph Garguilo III Nov. 29, accusing him of bringing a controlled substance into the Putnam County Correctional Facility during visitation on Oct. 31.
The 32-year-old was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 5th degree and promoting prison contraband 1st degree, both class D felonies.

Garguilo was arraigned in the Town of Carmel Court and was released on his own recognize, pending a future court date, McConville said.
