Clarkstown Planning Board: Hearings On Congers, West Nyack Proposals

There are plenty of upcoming chances to help tend to our democracy close to the roots. Several public meetings are scheduled for this week that affect the town.
The Clarkstown Planning Board meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the auditorium at Town Hall. The agenda includes two public hearings, one on a subdivision in West Nyack and one for an apartment building with retail space in Congers.

- CLARKSVILLE HEIGHTS, WEST NYACK: Proposed two-lot subdivision with existing dwelling to remain. The property is located on 1.51 acres of R-15 zoned land approximately 160 ft west of the intersection of Sickletown Road and West Nyack Road in West Nyack.

- SNOW CHURCH REALTY, CONGERS: Proposed demolition of existing building and construction of an 11,563 square foot mixed use building with 3,249 square feet of retail use on the first floor and eight (8) one bedroom apartments on the second and third floors. The property is located on .85 acres of NS zoned land on the east side of Route 9W, approximately 1000 feet north of Lake Road in Congers.
