Clarkstown Police Calls: May 8-15
Medical emergencies; accidents; domestic incidents and more were on the call log.
NEW CITY, NY — The Clarkstown Police Department has posted weekly call statistics for the week of May 8-15 on its Facebook page. Medical emergencies were by far the most calls requiring a police response. The next most frequent were for vehicle and traffic accidents.
Also among the more frequent calls: Reports of thefts and fraud accounted for 5 percent of calls; domestic incidents accounted for 3 percent. Officers responded to 12 calls about emotionally disturbed people and four assaults. There were four reports of criminal mischief/vandalism/arson.
