Clarkstown School Board to Choose Construction Manager for Congers Project

The team evaluating proposals from six firms is recommending that Clarkstown school trustees award the construction management of the Congers Elementary School renovation project to Savin Engineers, P.C. for $248,000.

The firm knows the ins and outs of school construction in New York, and the fee is within budget, Assistant Superintendent of Business, Facilities, and Fiscal Management John LaNave wrote in a memo to schools Superintendent Thomas Morton that is part of the documents packet in tomorrow night’s agenda.

The meeting will be held at the Chestnut Grove Administration Center. It is scheduled to start at 8 p.m.
