Clarkstown South High Schooler Wins Memorial Day Essay Scholarship Contest
Her moving essay opens with quotes from American soldiers who died.

NEW CITY, NY — Congratulations to Jocelyn Weber from Clarkstown South High School. Weber wrote the winning essay for Clarkstown's Memorial Day Essay Scholarship Contest in which students were asked "What Does Memorial Day Mean to You?" (See her essay below.)
Clarkstown Town Supervisor George Hoehmann and other officials joined the scholarship sponsor, Anchor Media Services of New City, to present Weber her award at the Carry the Load event held in Congers.
