Clarkstown Swears In New Police Officers
Six new officers now start their field training.
CLARKSTOWN, NY — The Clarkstown Police Department welcomed six new officers who were sworn in Monday during a ceremony at police headquarters in New City.
They are: PO Angel Romero, PO Daniel Spiegel, PO Joseph Paolini, PO Michael McCahey, PO Diana Furey and PO Gregory Piro.
All have previous law enforcement experience. One speaks Portuguese and another Spanish as a second language

They will undergo a rigorous field training program for the next three months, working with veteran officers as they learn the town and departmental procedures from answering calls to doing the paperwork.
"We know that you will proudly serve the Clarkstown community with honor and integrity," department officials said on Facebook.
