Congers Blaze Leaves Home Uninhabitable
Firefighters from Congers, New City, West Nyack and Haverstraw responded.

A fire yesterday afternoon caused extensive damage to a home at 28 S. Harrison Ave. in Congers.
Congers, New City, West Nyack, Valley Cottage and Haverstraw Fire Departments responded. South Harrison Ave was closed for a few hours.
There were no injuries reported and the home was unoccupied. A dog was rescued from the basement, according to Fios1 News.

The Clarkstown Detective Bureau and the Clarkstown Fire Inspector are investigating the cause.
