Congers Resident Immersed In Entrepreneurship At Cornell
He attended a three-week program with 11 other high-schoolers from around the world.

CONGERS, NY - Congers resident Shawn Kuriakose recently took part in the Life Changing Summer program, a three-week immersive entrepreneurship course for the most promising and passionate high school students at Cornell University. He was one of 12 students from as far away as Romania and Honduras.
Students took classes on entrepreneurship and design, conducted research and experiments, and developed their ideas into products, helped by Cornell students, faculty and alumni mentors with years of experience with startups and programming.
Kuriakose showcased his portable charger, which features interchangeable magnetic heads that allow the owner to charge all of their devices from one charger. He not only worked on a business plan for the idea but also created a prototype using 3D printers at Cornell.
