Congressional Candidates Forum Thursday On The Environment
Democrats vying to replace Rep. Nita Lowey will discuss conservation issues remotely as primaries near for District 17.

Ahead of Congressional District 17’s June primary election, the New York League of Conservation Voters Education Fund is hosting a virtual candidate forum Thursday to discuss each candidate’s stance on environmental issues.
There is a crowded field of candidates vying to replace longtime Rep. Nita Lowey in a district that includes all of Rockland County and much of Westchester, including Peekskill, Yorktown, Ossining, New Castle, Mount Pleasant, Tarrytown, White Plains and Harrison.
The NYLCV forum is for Democratic candidates.
