Cops Seek Info, Video of Valley Cottage Incident

A homeowner called Clarkstown police after his burglar alarm went off and he found a window broken.

NEW CITY, NY — Clarkstown police are investigating an incident in Valley Cottage on Nov. 27 and seek help from Andover Road neighbors.

At 3:30 a.m. Nov. 27 the Clarkstown Police Department responded to 653 Andover Rd. in Valley Cottage for a report of a possible burglary.

Responding officers were met by the homeowner who stated that his burglar alarm activated as he and his family slept. He went downstairs and noticed shards of glass on the floor from a window on the main floor.

A search of the home and area did not reveal any suspects. It appears nothing was missing from the home and no one was injured.
