Coronavirus: School Districts Announce Changes, Closings
Many school districts are closing to clean; others are closing as someone connected to the school goes into self-or mandated quarantine.
HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Schools up and down the Hudson Valley are closing for one to 15 days as the new coronavirus outbreak continues. In New York State there were 328 confirmed cases of what is officially known as COVID-19 as of Thursday afternoon, with 162 in the Hudson Valley.

Bedford - Closed March 12 - 13. All activities, events and meetings canceled through March 15. SATs scheduled for March 14 postponed to March 28.
Blind Brook - Closed March 12 for an extended period of time.

Brewster - Closed. All activities are canceled until Monday
Byram Hills - Closed Friday for virtual Superintendent’s Conference Day. After-school activities Friday.
Clarkstown Central School District - Closed
Croton Harmon - closed on March 13 for Superintendent's Conference Day.
East Ramapo - Closed. Hempstead Elementary School and Pomona Middle School will continue to be closed through 12:01 a.m. March 21, while Ramapo High School will re-open March 19.
Eastchester - Closed March 16-18
Greenburgh-Graham - Closed
Greenburgh Central Number 7 - Closed
Greenwood Lake Union Free School Dist - Closed
John F. Kennedy Catholic High School - Closed
Katonah - Closed Friday
Keio Academy - Campus closed for the rest of the year
Kingston School District - Closed
Mamaroneck - will close March 16 and reopen March 30
Monroe-Woodbury Central School Dist - Closed
Mount Vernon - Half-day sessions on March 16 and 18 to prepare for distance learning. SATs rescheduled to March 28.
New Rochelle - Closed through March 25
Ossining - Delayed - 2 Hours. Closed Monday for cleaning and planning.
Our Montessori School In Yorktown & Carmel - Closed
Pleasantville - Delayed - 2 Hours for planning
Port Chester - SATs canceled March 14
Scarsdale - Closed through March 18
Tuckahoe - Closed March 12-25
Wallkill - Closed
White Plains - SATs postponed
Windward School - Closed
Yorktown Head Start - Yorktown Head Start will be closed today, Friday March 13 for a cleaning day.
Yorktown Central School District - All schools closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. SATs are canceled. ST PATS IS NOT CLOSED HOWEVER HAS AN EARLY DISMISSAL OF 11 AM March 13
