Danny Glover Guest Bartends for Rockland BOCES Family Resource Center Fundraiser

It was an amazing show of support for the Rockland BOCES Family Resource Center Foundation on October 18!

Many thanks to those who packed UNoodles Snack Bar in Haverstraw to raise money for the FRC Backpack Program and the Hilltop After School Program.

Special guest bartenders Danny Glover, WRCR Radio host Steve Possell, WABC-TV Reporter Marcus Solis and Rockland County Executive Ed Day made it an extraordinary event!

The Rockland BOCES Family Resource Foundation is a 501c (3) public charity established to support creative and innovative programs, as well as provide needed resources for the Rockland BOCES’ students and their families that may not be provided for in a regular district budget. To date, funding has consisted of charitable benefactors in and around our community.

Glover has been a friend to Rockland BOCES for some time. He serves as an Honorary Board Member on the Rockland BOCES Family Resource Center Foundation, which funds a variety of programs for Rockland BOCES’ students and families, including Family Fun Nights and the Backpack Food Pantry Program.
