Don't Miss: Grand Opening Of Clarkstown's Dazzling Winter Wonderland
All residents are invited to stroll the paths. The event Thursday will feature special guests, horse-drawn wagon rides and refreshments.
CLARKSTOWN, NY — Clarkstown's annual Winter Wonderland is a labor of love by the town's Department of Engineering and Facilities Management and the Recreation Department, whose crews construct LED light displays through a portion of the walking trail.
This year it opens Thursday at Congers Lake Memorial Park.
Families will be able to stroll through the walkway and look at all the beautiful Christmas, Hanukkah, and other holiday light displays while listening to festive music.

On opening day, there will be a shuttle bus from St. Paul’s School, 365 Kings Highway, Valley Cottage, NY 10989 to Congers Community Center.
The tree lighting ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. and after that, families can enjoy a children's concert, horse-drawn wagon rides, cookies and hot chocolate, and even roasting marshmallows at the lakeside firepit.

Santa Claus will be available from 6:30-7:30 p.m. for you to take your own photos.
