Driver with Suspended License Stopped for Traffic Violation on 9D
Now he's due in court.

Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith reports the arrest of a Rockland County man on a charge of unlicensed operation.
At 8:46 a.m. Dec. 19, Deputy Sheriff Benjamin Levine stopped a motorist who had committed a traffic violation on Route 9D in Philipstown.
The deputy discovered that the driver, identified as Michael R. Reid, 24, of 16 Central Drive, Stony Point, New York held a suspended license.

The deputy arrested Reid and charged him with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the Third Degree, a misdemeanor. Het was processed at the scene and released in his own recognizance pending a Jan. 23 appearance in the Town of Philipstown Justice Court to answer the charge.
If found guilty of the misdemeanor charge, Reid could face up to a year in jail and a fine of up to $1,000 for each charge.
