DWI Charge After U-Haul Hits Several Obstacles In Stony Point
A Newburgh man faces charges.
STONY POINT, NY — A Newburgh resident is accused of crashing a U-Haul truck through a fence, hitting an electrical box, fire hydrant, trees and shrubs and a no-turn-on-red sign on the southbound side of Route 9W in Stony Point on Monday.
Officers were sent to the scene at North Liberty and Filors Lane at 1:30 p.m.
Arnoldo Ramirez, 39, faces driving while intoxicated charges plus numerous V&T violations. He is due back in Stony Point Justice Court on March 2.
