Elderly Couple Found Dead in their New City Home

The Clarkstown Police Department responded to 8 Raven Terrace in New City Feb. 23 after a family member reported finding an elderly couple dead.

Police said the couple were found in separate bedrooms. They appeared to have been dead for more than a week.

The deceased were identified as Joseph Codi, 89 and Elizabeth Codi, 85. They were the homeowners.

The Clarkstown Detective Bureau is conducting an investigation. An autopsy was conducted yesterday by the Rockland County Medical Examiner. The deaths do not appear to be suspicious in nature. Updates will be provided as they become available, police said.
