New City Election 2015 Results: Sheriff, Town Supervisor, More

Clarkstown voters liked only one of the two propositions on the ballot.

The Reform party swept through Clarkstown on Nov. 3, according to the Rockland Board of Elections.

George Hoehmann outpolled Alex Gromack; Frank Borelli and John Noto were elected to the Town Council, and Frank DiZenzo ran away from Wayne Ballard and Bob Milone in the race for Highway Supervisor.

Clarkstown voters also liked the idea of a ward system, so that town councilmembers in future will be elected from geographic districts. But they didn’t approve the second part of the government reform, which would have expanded the town board to six from four.
