The Family-Friendly Walk is an event run by the Rockland County Health Department. Â It will occur during World Breastfeeding Week and includes a guided nature walk as well as interactive activities along the way.
The walk will be held in Demarest Kill Park located off of New Hempstead Road. Children through seniors are welcome.  Child-geared activities such as scavenger hunts, nature games, coloring, fake tattoos, clowns, and various prizes will be incorporated. Free snacks will be provided. The rain date is set for Sunday, August 7.
