Five Day Carnival For Child Care Center

The Jan & Niles Davies Learning Center will sponsor a Fall Carnival at Provident Bank Park- Home of the Rockland Boulders in Pomona, New York from Wednesday September 26 through Sunday September 30, 2012.  The event is a fundraiser for the premiere early childhood care and education Center, which is located on the campus of Helen Hayes Hospital in West Haverstraw.

The Carnival will feature a Car Cruise on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. On Saturday, from 12:00 to 4:00 pm, there will be a Health & Safety Expo, with representatives from many local organizations participating. A Vendor Fair & Sale will take place on Sunday between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm. Dreamland Amusements is providing all carnival rides and entertainment.

Hours for the Carnival are as follows:

• Wednesday September 26    1:00 – 10:00 PM
• Thursday September 27       4:00 – 10:00 PM
• Friday September 28           4:00 – 11:00 PM
• Saturday September 29      12:00 – 11:00 PM
• Sunday September 30        12:00 – 9:00PM

The Jan & Niles Davies Learning Center provides child care and education for approximately 78 infant through pre-school age children five days per week. This year is the not-for-profit Center’s 25^th anniversary. The Center is located in a unique, 9,000 square foot state-of-the-art building, which opened in 2008. Services are offered to children of hospital staff, as well as children in the community.
