Miller will explain the various ways they promote Rockland County and its many attractions, businesses and events via their new website, www.rocktourism.com, their weekly email blast, and more. This is a good opportunity for individuals and business owners to see how they can benefit from this activity.
Information will also be available with suggestions of inexpensive local activities for individuals and families who need or want to limit their expenses in these difficult economic times.

Since the Department of Tourism has been eliminated, saving taxpayers more than $350,000 under the County Executive's 2012 Budget, the County is able to serve Rockland's businesses, attractions, residents and tourists alike in a more effective, efficient way.
Friends of the New City Library provides advocacy, increases public support, and raises money for the work of the New City Library. In 2012 we meet on the 4th Monday of the month except for May and December at New City Library.
